James (Jim) Andrade was born in Phoenix, Arizona April 29, 1933.

He passed away peacefully, surrounded by those who loved him dearly, on June 17, 2010. Raised on family farm with seven older and one younger sibling. Served in Army National Guard.

Graduated Phoenix Tile Layers and Marble Apprenticeship 1957. Started his family business, "Andrade Tile Incorporated" in '69. Past president of Az Brick Layers & Ceramic Tile Layers Union. Avid outdoorsman.

Survived by the love of his life, Elsie, of 53 years; his son, David; daughters, Debbie Garza and Deanna Randall; six grandchildren; and surviving siblings, Connie Goldian, Dora Stanley, Ester Killeen, Hector, Oscar, Eddie, (deceased) Raymond and George.

Visitation 5-8 p.m., with Rosary at 7 p.m., Tuesday June 22nd, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phx. Funeral
Mass Wednesday, June 23rd, 10 a.m. at Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral, 6351 N. 27th Ave, Phx. Interment to follow at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, 23015 Cave Creek Rd, Phx.

Donations can be made in his name to the American Lung Association.
