Born Sept. 28, 1953, at Piney Township, in Clarion County, he was the son of the late Richard and Helen Johnson Best.
He was Protestant by faith.
Mr. Best was an employee of the former Rex-Hide in East Brady for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Bonita? Bonnie? Hyskell Best; two daughters, Crystal Best of Oil City and Tammy Peters of Paris, France; two sisters, Shelby Wolfe of West Freedom and Darlene?Sue? Deitz and husband, Terry, of Sligo; one brother, Mike Best and wife, Charlotte, of West Freedom; one step-son, Bradley Hyskell of Overland Park, Kas.; four grandchildren, Kayla, Chelsea, Andrea and Seth Peters and one step grandchild, Adion Hyskell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Eileen Best Fair.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, Wayne Street, Parker.
Interment will be in MT. Zion Cemetery, Licking Township, Clarion County.
