Julius Williams was the son of Susan Brown and Julius Williams both born at Hilton Head, Beaufort Co., SC).

He married about 1902 Ella Williams.

His death certificate states that Julius was a Farmer and died at of accidental drowning after falling overboard from a motor boat at age 46 years. His body was recovered after 27 days under water. He was buried March 9, 1938. His parents were listed correctly, but his wife was listed as Essie Williams (Wendell Grayson reports that Ella was also referred to by relatives as Essie). Informant was Charlie Simmons.
