Mary Eva Alward, 93, formerly of Kingman, died at 7:10 pm Monday in the Vermillion County Convalescent Center at Clinton.
Mrs. Alward was a homemaker and a member of the Wolf Creek Community Church near Wallace. She attended Rosadale school.
She was born March 21, 1989, near Rosedale to John and Leora Shaw Mills. She married Otis E. Alward Aug 8, 1925. He preceded her in death April 29, 1973.
Surviving are sister-in-law Amanda Mills of Lansing,Ill., and Irene Delp of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday at Wolf Creek Church near Wallace with the Rev. Lester Niles officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Cramer-Shoemaker Funeral Home at Waynetown is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wolf Creek Cemetery.
