GROVER CLEVELAND LAMBERTH

Mr. Grover Cleveland Lamberth, age 62, of Montezuma, Ga., died Friday, March 16, 1984 at his home. Funeral services were held at 3 pm Saturday, March 17, in the chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. T. J. Waldrop and Sister Lorene Smith officiated. Burial was in BERTHA DOZIER MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY.

Mr. Lamberth, a native of Dooly County, was born July 29, 1921, the son of Doc J. Lamberth and Minnie Hayes Lamberth. He resided in Montezuma most of his life and was a retired mechanic. He served in the Army during World War II.

Survivors are his wife, Berlyne Price Lamberth of Montezuma; three sons, J. C. Lamberth and Tony Lamberth both of Montezuma, Bobby Lamberth of Fort Valley; three brothers, Doc Lamberth of Kileen, Texas, Edwin Lamberth of Macon, Roy Lamberth of Manning, S.C.; six sisters, Mrs. Beulah Lamberth Collier of Byromville, Mrs. Dollie Lamberth Raburn of Albany, Mrs. Ethel Lamberth Drake and Mrs. Grace Lamberth Cannifax; both of Macon, Mrs. Gladys Lamberth Simmonson of Panama City, Florida. Mrs. Minnie Lee Lamberth Parks of Montezuma; four grandchildren.
