Anna Claymon died April 7, 1999, in Pueblo. She was born Feb. 24, 1912, in Amherst, Colo., and is survived by daughters, Lavada (Roy) Brock of Pueblo and Rogene (Al) Killen of Johnstown, Colo. - stepdaughter, Jean (J.K.) Johnson of Texas- two sisters, two brothers- four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Claymon in 1991 and a daughter, Nola Ornelas. Viewing at Wilson-Andrews Chapel, Friday, April 9, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with graveside services for interment following at 1:30 p.m. at Lakeside Cemetery. After the services, family will receive friends at the St. John Lutheran Church, 790 Greydene, Canon City. Those wishing may make contributions to the St. John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 790 Greydene, Canon City.

Pueblo Former Montrose resident, Anna Claymon, age 87, of Pueblo, died this morning, April 7, 1999.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wilson Almont Funeral Home, 1449 S. 9th St., Canon City, Colo. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Lakeside Cemetery in Canon City.

A reception will be held for friends and relatives following the interment at the St. Johns Lutheran Church, 790 Greydene St. in Canon City.

Memorial contributions, in Memory of Anna Claymon, may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church, 790 Greydene St., Canon City, Colo. 81212

Arrangements are being handled under the direction of the Wilson Almont Funeral Home of Canon City.

Anna Poos was born on Feb. 24, 1912 at Amherst, Colo., the daughter of William and Dora Poos.

On her birthday in 1933, she married Mike Claymon at Amherst.

Mrs. Claymon was a homemaker and child care provider. She and her husband made a life as ranchers in the Westcliffe area for 25 years before moving to Montrose where her husband was employed as a rancher and fireman for 35 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Lavada Brock and husband Roy of Pueblo; Rogene Claymon Killen and husband Al of Johnstown, Colo.; a step-daughter, Jean Johnson and husband J.K. of Texas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Other family survivors include two brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Claymon was preceded in death by her husband Mike Claymon in 1991 at Canon City; and a daughter, Nola Ornelas.
