She was best known for the role of 'Aunt Pittypat Hamilton' in movie "Gone With the Wind" (1939). Her other credits included "New Morals for Old" (1932), "Escapade" (1935), "Confession" (1937), "The Star Maker" (1939), "The Blue Bird" (1940) and "One Foot in Heaven" (1941). She died in New York City and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
