Originally buried at Hillview Cemetery in La Grange, Georgia, he was re-interred in the Callaway Family Cemetery on the grounds of "Hills and Dales" estate in La Grange.

Funeral Is Set Here Friday For Callaway

Funeral services for Fuller E. Callaway III will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in LaGrange.
Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. J. Thornton Williams. Entombment will be in the Callaway Mausoleum in Hillview Cemetery.
Callaway, 39, died Tuesday night at his home in Atherton, California.
The body will be at Maddox Funeral Home until Friday morning and will lie in state at the First Baptist Church from 10 until 11 a.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Arthur B. Edge, III, Horace B. Thorn, J. T. Gresham, C. L. Pitts, William Hudson, Dr. Curran S. Easley, L. D. Allen Jr., and James R. Lewis.
Survivors include one son, Mark Clayton Callaway of Atherton; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fuller E. Callaway Jr. of LaGrange; one sister, Mrs. Charles D. Hudson; three nieces, Miss Jane Alice Hudson, Miss Ellen P. Hudson, and Miss Ida C. Hudson, and one nephew, Charles D. Hudson, Jr., all of LaGrange.
Callaway was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaGrange, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, St. Francis Yacht Club of San Francisco, and Royal Ocean Racing Association of England.
Born in LaGrange, he was a graduate of Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Va., Georgia Institute of Technology, and Harvard Business School in Boston, Mass.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was active in yacht racing.
Maddox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
