He is listed as a son of Laton Kinness (Kanistanaux) on Laton's 1901 Land Claim Application. However, other evidence suggests Laton was in Wisconsin with his first wife and family when Isaac Henry was born, while Mary Moulton was with her first husband and daughter in Quebec.

Isaac married second, Christina, who was born about 1857 in Sweden. She was with him in the 1892 NY State Census at Ellicott. He has not been located in the 1900 Census.
Isaac married third about 1903 to Anna Belle, who was born about 1855 in Canada. She is found with him in the 1905, 1910, and 1915 Census at Pomfret and survived him.
Isaac Henry Kanistanaux has no known direct descendants.

The body was removed to Blood's undertaking rooms and the funeral will probably be held Saturday.
