The funeral for Charles E. Douglas, 55, Waynedale, who was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Josephs Hospital Saturday at 7 p.m., will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Elzey Home for Funerals, Waynedale.
The Rev. H. H. Backs will conduct the service, and burial will take place in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
An employee of the Allen County Highway Department, Mr. Douglas is survived by his widow, Florence; a son, Lerland, Fort Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Thurl Degler and Mrs. Jim Kemp, both of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; and his mother, Mrs. Thomas Kennedy, Clarksburg, WV.
