Andrew Haldoffer, died at his home on South High street, Friday after having been in ill health for six months or more. He had been suffering from a heart ailment.
He was a druggist and had been employed by Edward Kreamer at High and Main Streets, until he was stricken ill. In fact, Mr. Haldoffer had been clerk in that particular drugstore for the past 25 years of more, he having been retained each time the drug store changed hands.
He was a widower and for years, his family lived in the Haldoffer homestead on East Main Street, near Fourth. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William Haldoffer, this city, and one sister, Mrs. John Henry, also of this city.
The funeral was held from the Christy Funeral home, Monday afternoon with Rev. D. A. Berry, of the Presbyterian Church, conducting the services. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery,
