Erastus Jr. Son of Erastus Adams of Leverett, Mass. Erastus Adams came to Lincoln in 1827 and very soon engaged in the mill work at the lower mill. Erastus built a house on the State road very near where the railroad now crosses. He lived there during his lifetime.
Erastus first married Lucinda daughter of Jeremiah and Polly (Bailey) Jameson of Lincoln 30 Oct 1827. She died 30 Dec, 1832. He had 3 other wives. Octavia Cushman, Mahala Doble, and Sylvinia Whitney.

William Ward Adams and Elvira Adams.
