SKIDMORE - Helen Louise Herzog Doubrava, 96, of Skidmore, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004.

She was born March 29, 1908, in Kyle, to the late Robert and Janie Ewald Herzog. She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Survivors: daughters, Frances Streb of Corpus Christi and Jo Ann Odom of Brazoria; sons, Allen Doubrava of Corpus Christi and Norm Doubrava and Henry Doubrava, both of Skidmore; sisters, Dorothy Herzog of Pennsylvania, Floralee Marshall of Houston and Lucille Custer of Sinton; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, Frank Doubrava; four sisters; brothers, Henry Doubrava, Robert Doubrava, Fritz Doubrava, and James Doubrava; son, Drank Doubrava Jr.; and two grandsons.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. tonight at Galloway & Sons Funeral Directors chapel.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, the Rev. Sebastian Vettah officiating.

Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Galloway & Sons Funeral Directors, Beeville,
