NORTHEAST HARBOR and BAR HARBOR - Geraldine (Baker) Sweet, 82, passed away April 3, 2010, at Mount Desert Island Hospital. Geraldine or "Gerrie," as everyone called her, was born June 26, 1927, in Bar Harbor, the daughter of John and Mina (Larracey) Baker. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Sweet; their son, John Jr. and his wife, Ann; another son, David and his wife, Gretchen; beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
