Darling, who died December 4, 1983, and the mother of the late Harold Darling, who died in 1999. Surviving is a daughter Sandra (Luther Trey) Hacker of Reno, Nev.; a brother Warren Schenck of Darien; two sisters, Dorothy Willard of Corfu and Lois (Norbert) Schuhmann of Cheektowaga; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Freeman, Willard, and Myron Schenck.
