Aaron Thomas Bevins, 71, of White Earth, died at St. Mary's hospital on Saturday, July 9. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 12, at 10 a.m. at St.Benedict's Catholic Church, with Father Albin Fruth,OSB,officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery.

Pallbearers included Clifford Warren Jr. Warren Heisler, Ronald Belanger, Joe Belland, Lowell Bellanger and Francis Bellanger. Donehower Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bevins was born at Wymore, Nebraska, on December 10, 1894. He Lived in Iowa and Worthington, Minn., for a short while before moving to White Earth.

He married Mary Big Bear on April 23, 1930 at White Earth. She preceded him in death on December 27,1937.He married Marcianna Jackson at White Earth on May 7,1938.
Mr. Bevins was employed as a Laborer. He was a member of St. Benedict's church.

Survivors include his wife: six sons-Lawrence of Minneapolis: Benjamin and Goerge of Northville Mich.; Arthur, Curtis and Kenneth, at home; eight daughters: Mrs. Frank (Doris Mae) Jackson, Mrs. Kenneth (Marcianna) Sullivan, and Mrs. Peter (Grace) Jackson, all of St. Paul; Mrs. Leonard (Geraldine) Anderson of Waubun; Mrs. Melvin (Mary) Manypenny of Detroit Lakes; and Jeanette, Donna and Katherine, all at home, and 39 grandchildren. Two sons preceded him in death.

There are also three brothers, William of Elbow Lake; Louis of Roger N.D.; Ralph of Valley City, N.D.; and two sisters Mrs. Charles Etrelt of Valley City, and Mrs. Grace
Crone of California.
