Norman E. Beaver, 84, of Prescott, AZ, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, in Houston, TX. Norman was born Jan. 3, 1926, in Santa Ana, California, and spent most of his life in Bakersfield, CA.

The latter of his retired years from the grocery and bread-baking industry were spent in Escondido, CA, and Prescott. Norman was a veteran of WWII, assigned to the Hedron sixth fleet air wing 6, where he proudly served.

Norman is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Evelyn Beaver, of Prescott; his children: Cherie Larson, of Escondido, CA, Susan Robinson, of Centennial, CO, James Beaver, of San Diego, CA, Ron Beaver (Tina), of Midway, UT, Tom Beaver (Penny), of Covington, LA, and Kelly Ryan (John), of Spring, TX; stepchildren: Ron Hoeflicker (Mary), of Prescott, Darlene (Ron) Kangiser, of Woodland, WA, and Janni (Richard) McBurnie, of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2010, at The Prescott National Cemetery, 500 Highway 89 North, Prescott, Ariz.
