HOBBS, N.M. (Special) Services for Deanna Carlisle Lewis Brumley, 60, of Hobbs will be at 1 p.m. today at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Mathis, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hobbs under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

She died Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Lea Regional Medical Center in Hobbs.

She was born Dec. 13, 1939, in Dallas. She married Royce Brumley on May 28, 1988, in Midland. She was a member of the Taylor Memorial Baptist Church of Hobbs. She was the assembly chaplain for the Rebekah Assembly of New Mexico of which she was a member for 30 years. She also served as past noble grand.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Lewis, and a stepson, Richard Brumley.

Survivors include her husband; her mother, Evelyn Carlisle Yates of Pinos Altos, N.M.; her father and stepmother, D.H. and Esther Davis of Bellflower, Calif.; four sons, Ronald Lewis and Gary Lewis, both of Hobbs, Raymond Lewis of Levelland, and Howard Lewis of Rio Linda, Calif; a stepson, Ronny Brumley of Hobbs; a stepdaughter, Debbie Wedgeworth of San Antonio; a sister, Vicky Ridgaway of Austin; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials to the Crescent Rebekah Lodge No. 3, Deanna Lewis Brumley Memorial Fund, 1200 N. Dal Paso, Hobbs 88240.
