A native of Santa Anna, Texas, Mrs. Alexander was a civil service employee, having worked for 30 years at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas, the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta. Later, she worked as a secretary in the Children's Ministry and taught Sunday School at Tucker Rehoboth Baptist Church where she was a member. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, cousin, brother-in-law, grandson, great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations requested for the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna, GA 30080. The family received friends from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Thursday at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel. (770) 564-2726
