Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Church of the Brethren in Arcadia.
Idonia, eldest daughter of James and Lavina (Lewis) Rhinehart, was born near Arcadia, April 14, 1877, and spent her early life in the vicinity. She was married to Irvin Tomlinson, July 11, 1895, and soon after her marriage went to the northern part of the state to reside.
The deceased was the mother of six children, one dying in infancy, leaving the following to mourn her departure. Mrs. Emily Morris, of North Vernon; James Tomlinson, of Danville; Nathaniel, of Arcadia; Noah and Esther at home. Other survivors are the husband, the father, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ross and Mrs. Susie McGill, both of Arcadia, and twelve grandchildren.
Mrs. Tomlinson was a faithful member of the Brethren church and an active worker in the Ladies Aid Society.
