Floretta E. Gadway, 75, died October 19, at a North Platte nursing home. She was born April 16, 1912, in Nelson to John T. and Hattie Klawitter Odom. She attended schools at Nelson and moved to Wellfleet in her teens. In 1930 she married Robert C. Gadway at North Platte and they were engaged in farming near Wellfleet until 1958 when they moved to North Platte. She worked at a nursing home until her retirement in 1982.Survivors include five sons, Wesley of Hershey, Gordon of North Platte, Stanley of Morgan Hill, California, Maynard of Oxnard, California, and Robert of Cozad; a sister, Leola Conklin of Clarkdale, Arizona; two brothers, Lyonel Odom of Citrus Heights, California, and Junior Glasson of Nelson; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband.Services were in the Wesleyan Church in North Platte on October 15, 1987. Burial was in the North Platte Cemetery.
