BOYD, Betty Rawls, Age 82 of Madison, passed away February 15, 2010 after a short illness in Terre Haute, IN. Preceded in death by parents, Frank & Edna Rawls; daughter, Jackie Boyd Carter; 3 siblings. Survived by husband of 64 years, Jack Boyd; sons, Chuck (Susan) Boyd of Nashville, TN & Jerry (Claudia) Boyd of Terre Haute, IN; sisters, Ann Moon & Ione Smith; brother, Wendell Rawls; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Betty was a loving wife, wonderful mother, "Mee Maw" to her grandchildren & great-grandchildren, and a friend to many. She was a member of City Road Chapel Methodist Church. A celebration of Betty's life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Forest Lawn Chapel, with Rev. Ray Newell officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons & nephews. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association or American Lung Association. Visitation will be Friday, 5 - 8 p.m. & Saturday, 1 hour prior to service. FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME,
