RITES HELD WED.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alva Baker, 45, of Spirit Lake were conducted from the Spirit Lake Methodist church Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 16, with Rev. Ralph E. Baker, pastor of the church, officiating.

Mrs. Baker passed away at the Spirit Lake hospital Nov. 14, after a lingering illness from kidney infection. She had lived in Dickinson county since a child of 6 years old.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Delilah, Mrs. Nile Johnson of Milford; two sons, Everett and Darrell, at home; her father, Chester Bell, of Spirit Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Lester Wood of Des Moines, Mrs. Merrill Hausemann of Spirit Lake and Mrs. Merwin Rosch of Estherville; and three brothers, Leonard, Orville and Kenneth Bell of Spirit Lake.
