Mr. David Coy Bullard, Jr., 76, died Wednesday morning (February 11, 2004) at his residence following a short illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Ware County before moving to Folkston five years ago. He was the son of the late Willie Bullard and Hester Morgan Bullard. He was preceded in death by a daughter Gail Bullard. He was a disabled Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
Survivors include his wife Margie Bullard of Axson; a daughter Diane Taylor of Waycross; two sons, David Allen Bullard of Blackshear and David C. Bullard, Jr. Of Waycross; two step daughters, Cynthia Young of Waycross and Rhonda Combs of Kingsland; three step grandchildren; and two sisters, Iris Manning of Nashville, GA and Merle of Waycross.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday (February 13, 2004) at Hargraves Chapel. Burial will follow in Hargraves Chapel Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the Church Friday afternoon from 1 until 3 o'clock.

A funeral for David Coy Bullard Sr., 75, was held Friday afternoon at Hargraves Chapel with the Rev. Clayton Davis and the Rev. Fred Morgan officiating. Burial was in Hargraves Chapel Cemetery. Active pallbearers included Joey Coombs, Randy Coombs, William Miller, Joe Young, Kyle Dell and Randall Crawford. Music Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
