Happy heavenly birthday Grandpa. When I see beautiful flowers, in someones garden or just driving down the road I always think of you and your own garden full of food, flowers and fun.

Remember the Christmas we spent with you when the trunk of our car popped open and it rained all night. We all laughed.

So, on a sunny Spring day we stood on your homestead in beautiful Alberta. How in the world did you plow those rolling hills one hundred years ago. And all with horses. You and brother Curtis worked so hard to clear the land, plant and harvest each year. As you always said, "We don't own the land we are just the stewards". So true. I hold you close in my heart always.

This is what I saw the last time I was at the ranch in Canada. Brings back many happy memories. You must have worked so hard to till that ground. Happy New Year Grandfather

Grandfather,Here is a rose for you like the beautiful roses in your flower garden. The Snowballs from my mothers wedding, your Iris everywhere and all of the blooms lining the driveway. You were very special and I miss you. I treasure all of the things of yours that I still have.
