Funeral services for Betty Lou Scott Bowling, 82, of Galena, were held Jan. 4, 2010, at Bowling Chapel with Doyle Russell and the Rev. Larry Kackley officiating. Burial was at Bowling Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home in Crane.
She died Jan. 1, 2010.
She was born April 6,1927, to John and Eulalla Woodhouse Scott.
In 1944. she married Joe Felix Bowling.
She was preceded in death by herparents;husband; son Daryl Ray; brothes Jerry and Eddie Scott; and son-in-law Gary Daugherty.
Survivors include daughters Sharon and husband John Kirby, of Aurora, Linda and husband Denny Wolf, of Jenkins, Brenda Daugherty of Galena, and Johnette and husband Randy Ellingsworth, of Reeds Spring; sons Eddie and wife Debbie Bowling, of Galena, Dale and wife Donna Bowling, of Springfield, Marty and wife Stacy Bowling, of Walnut Shade; daughter-in-law JoEtta Bowling, of Spokane; sisters Bonnie Clevenger, JoAnn Ellingsworth, Patsy Bond and Cindy Scott; brothers Larry Scott and Bob Scott; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contibutions may be made to Bowling Chapel Cemetery.
