FRANK D. CROW PASSES AWAY
Fank (sic) D. Crow, widely known citizen and former business man of this city, died last Sunday at his home in Moberly, at the age of 81 years. He was a native of Monroe county and for about seven years was engaged in the milling business at this place, being a member of the firm Crow, Threlkeld & Company.
In the year 1882 this firm bought the old mill on South Center street, overhauled the plant and installed the first roller process used in this county. In the year 1889 he sold his interests in this mill and reengaged in the milling business at Moberly, in which city he resided to the time of his death. He had been in failing health many years.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and one daughter. The sons are Harry, of Moberly, and Victor of Akron O. The daughter is Mrs. John Tedford, Moberly.
He was a good man, upright in all of his dealings. He was a brotherinlaw of Silas Threlkeld, of this city and had many other relatives in this place and vicinity.
Funeral services took place from the Christian church at Moberly Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. B. L. Smith. The burial was under the auspices of the Masonic order.

Note: He commonly went by the name Frank D. Crow, but early census records indicate his original given names were Franklin and David.
