Pearl E. Hardman Barlup, 100, of 235 Apple Drive, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital. Born Dec. 12, 1901, in Franklin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late James Lewis and Lucinda Sprankle Hardman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh T. Barlup, in 1982.
She and her husband owned Barlup Dairy in Waynesboro from the late 1920s until the late 194Os. They farmed in the Zullinger, Pa., area until the 1960s. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Waynesboro.
She is survived by one sister, Lemma G. Snurr of Waynesboro; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Naomi Haugh, Rhoda Martz and Leatha Beckner; and three brothers, John Hardman, Emery Hardman and Ivan Hardman.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro. The Rev. John A. Toms will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
