|Grandpa, I miss you every day!! I have been doing a lot of family research and for any family members interested:Grandpas mother was Thomie Isora Bales born in Alabama to Burl C and Elmira or Sylvanna A Barry. Burl went by "bud" all of this info is on US census reports I have collected, and other documents, like grandpa's birth certificate that list his mother as Tommie Isora Bales, from Alabama. She isn't from NM and her parents were both born in Alabama as well. You can search Burl c bales on here and his parents, Larkin Bales and Susan Dempsey. Larkins mother, Elizabeth was born in 1779 in SC and lived with Larkin and Susan in the 1870 census. The 1900 census has great grandma as Thomie j bales..she was just a few months old. So, she wasn't born in 1899, but 1900. Her sister Louanna is on all the census' as well. Grandpa's dad was Howard Marvin Gould, and Gary stegal in Ft. Worth did a lot of the research on this part of the family, but we were originaly "Gold" but a screw up on a census and grandpas dads mother kept Gould, the mistake, and so we are Gould..There is a book titled, "Traces of Gold" that lists our entire family history. I have a copy and our family tree if anyone would like a copy. I've also done the Harps and the Hacketts, Eldreds, Boatwrights etc. Anyway Howard's dad was Benjamin William Gold and his mother was Mary or Martha Alice Russell in the 1900 census. And Benjamin's dad was David Gold and his mother was Catherine Carolyn smith.. A little family history, Without all of these people, we wouldn't be here. I have all the genealogy sources and citations.. including birth certificates of grandpa and marriage licences and death certificates, etc. Grandpa Bobby was my grandpa and I was his first grandchild of many. I love and miss him very much. I found out just a few yrs ago that my dad jerry is really a "Judy" and that his dad is Sanford F Judy of Sadotna, Alaska, from Shawnee Oklahoma recently, and his dad was Herbert A Judy and I've traced this family as well. Interesting note is Herbert and Leroy Hacket, Andy's dad, built the house great grandpa and grandma Hackett lived in, in Trousdale/ Wanette. Where dad lives now..both of dads grandpas built that house..I've traced the Hackett's line to most of the European and scandanavian kings in the Plantagenet line. The judy's as well are Swiss nobility. Anyway, love you all. You can reach me at tbtgc@Hotmail.com I'll post Harp family and Hackett family tree on their respective sites.|
