SOUTH BEND - Michael D. Chiddister, 57, passed away at 12:47 a.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2009, in Hospice House Michael was born on November 1, 1952, to the late Lawrence Chiddister and Rita Andrysiak. He is survived by his four children, Noelle (Brian) Krawiec of South Bend, Michael R. Chiddister of Surprise, AZ, Andrew Chiddister of South Bend and Marc Chiddister of South Bend; two grandsons, Gavin and Gage Krawiec; his sister, Susan (Bill) Flaherty of South Bend; and by his ex-wife, Lori Kolecki of South Bend.

Michael had previously worked for ADT for 17 years. He then worked maintenance security for the Northern Indiana Center for History. Michael was the maintenance supervisor for Comfort Suites; he also worked security for Per Mar. He enjoyed bowling and Lionel trains. He was a Notre Dame football fan and a fan of Clint Eastwood. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt fan. Michael was a car enthusiast and Chevrolet was his favorite.
