Barbara J. Hedrick, 69, Kokomo, died 12:25 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Ann
Seton Hospital. She was born Jan. 2, 1937, in Mineral Wells, Miss., a daughter of A.V. and Lois
(Greenlee) Craig. On April 12, 1958, in Memphis, Tenn., she married George J. Hedrick Jr., and
he survives. She graduated from Humes High School of Memphis, Tenn. and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church.
Surviving with her husband of 47 years, George J. Hedrick Jr., are her children, Tony J. Hedrick, Christopher Allen Hedrick, both of Kokomo, Angela Marie Hedrick, Bowling Green, Ky., Nicholas Joseph and wife Buffey Hedrick, Kokomo; four grandchildren, Allison Nichole Hedrick, Amanda Leann Hedrick, Parker Joseph Hedrick and Molly Frances Hedrick; one brother, Larry V. Craig, Memphis, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Katrina Dianne Hedrick, on Feb. 15, 1981; and one sister, Marlene Wilson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 1229 N.
Washington Street. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery.
