Services for Mrs. Mary Lou (Deatherage) Brown, 56, were Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Hersman Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Naugher officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Richard Brown, Robert Brown, James Flint, Riley Quarles, and Stephen Elsberry.

Born December 31, 1927, in Wagoner, Mrs. Brown worked for six years in the Paramedic Medical Corp of Anaheim, California. She was a nationally registered emergency technician. She was a member of San Diego First Baptist Church and a resident of the Torrey Pines Convalescent Home, San Diego, California. She died Thursday, February 3, 1984, in Del Mar, California.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Alden of the home in Del Mar; two sons, Richard Harvey Brown of San Antonio, Texas, and Robert Dale Brown of Alexandria, Virginia; a daughter, Ruth Ann Flint, of Mineral Point, Missouri; two grandchildren; and a sister, La Rhea Quarles of Fairfax. She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. H.A. Deatherage, longtime Wagoner dentist.
