She was born on July 26, 1931, in Uniontown, PA, daughter of Albert and Marie (Keberly) Malik.
Her parents, and brothers Robert Malik and Thomas Malik, preceded her in death.
Peggy was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America Court 505, and the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary. She had been a teacher's aid for Hatfield Grade School, Laurel Highlands School District for 10 years.
Peggy touched so many lives, that she will be deeply missed, and her memory forever cherished by her family, and dear friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Louis M. Fratrich; and their children: Joann M. Fratrich, at home; and Lou R. Fratrich and wife Julia of Warren, PA; two grandchildren: Justin and Corinn; and many beloved and special nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved pets.
Friends will be received at the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa. on Friday, November 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; and on Saturday, November 14, until 9:30 a.m., when prayers of transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown, PA, with Rev. Father James W. Clark as celebrant.
Interment will be held at Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
The Parish Wake Service will be held on Friday at 3 p.m.
The Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary will conduct a ritual service on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
