Mary R. Hedge, 64, died Oct. 23, 1997 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. She was born Dec. 3, 1932 to Hugh D. and Georgina (Hirons) Cornwall. She was married to LTC Raymond A. Hedge who preceded her in death. She was a registered nurse for 13 years at Parkwood Health Care Center in Lebanon, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church, Brownsburg.
Survivors include four sons, Timothy Hedge of Indianapolis, James P. Hedge of Tampa, Florida, Thomas Hedge of Cincinnati, Ohio and John Hedge of Lizton; one brother, James Cornwall of Nova Scotia; one sister, Martha Welch, of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 27 at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg with Father Dan Staublin officiating. Burial was at the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery.
