"Mrs. Elizabeth Allen, aged 77 years and six months, a native of Alabama and resident of this city for six years, died at her home here last night at 8 o'clock. Deceased was well known in Biloxi and is survived by one son, G. Allen, three grandsons and two granddaughters. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence of the deceased, 1409 First street. Services were conducted in St. Michael's Church Rev. Downing officiating, and interment was made in the Biloxi cemetery."
