FINAL SUMMONS TO OLD CONFEDERATE
Respected Citizen of Lawrence County Called Home

J. N. King, aged ninety-four years, gallant veteran of the Southern Confederacy and one of the most widely known and respected citizens of Lawrence county, passed away at 3 o'clock this morning at his home on Trinity route 1 after a lingering illness. Mr. King is survived by his wife and ten children, five sons, J. E. King, of Hartselle, J. W. King of Trinity; T. L. King of Caddo and N. T. King of Canute, Oklahoma; five daughter, Mrs. Ab Chaney of Oklahome, Mrs. Minor Bain, Caddo, Mrs. Logan McDougal of Caddo, Mrs. Robert Waldrep, of Caddo and Miss Zader King, also of Caddo, in addition to these immediate survivors, Mr. King is survived by some 170 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 o'clock Thursday morning at Caddo by the Rev. J. W. Montgomery. Priest in charge of funeral arrangements.
