Monday morning at 4:20 oclock,at her home, 118 St.Louis Ave. occurred the death of Mrs.Sarah A.Boone, aged 60 years. Her death was caused from cancer of the stomach.
The deceased was a native of Indiana but since 1849 had been a resident of Decatur. Four children, Ophlia Hardy, Lincoln, Ill, Anna Mathias, E. St. Louis, William Talbot, Springfield and Charles Talbot, Decatur survive.

A double funeral was held from the Christian Tabernacle at 1 oclock Wednesday afternoon. Services were conducted over the remains of the late Stanley March who met death while digging a trench in the north part of the city and his sister,Mrs.Sarah Boone, whose death occurred early in the morning of the day that her brother was killed.
The officiating clergyman was Rev.C.C.Redgraves, assistant pastor of the Tabernacle, assisted by Rev.Marion Stevenson, pastor of the Edward Street Christian church.
The remains were interred at Greenwood. Two undertakers were in charge of the two bodies and when the cortege was formed the two hearses were driven side y side along the streets leading to the cemetery.
The member of Dunham Post, G. formed as escort of the cortege.
