Mrs. Stone, who died Sunday, was born in Okanogan, Wash.
She and her husband, Robert Stone, had lived in Tonasket, Washington. She graduated from Central Washington University in 1968 with a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education.
She and her husband moved to Ellensburg for a short time and then settled in Davenport
She operated a daycare and preschool in Davenport for more than 20 years.
Recently she had begun teaching rubber stamping art.
She was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church in Cheney.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bob Stone; her children, Holly Bye of Salem, Oregon, Wendy Stone of Spokane, Patrick Stone of Spokane and Casey Stone of Medical Lake; her mother, Jessie Zabreznik of Tonasket; one sister, Beryl Curtis of Tonasket; three brothers, Louis Zabreznik of Tonasket, Clyde Zabreznik of Adel, Georgia, and Rodney Zabreznik of Fredericksburg, Texas; and three granddaughters.
