Juanita Fancey, 85, of Visalia, Calif., passed away Friday, Sept. 8, 2000, in Visalia. She was born June 30, 1915, in Lou, Texas. Her parents were Jess E Liles and Alice Mitchell Liles. She was one of 6 children. Her brothers George, Artie W, Bennie, and J E, Jr all preceded her in passing.

She married Byron Fancey in December 1945 in Bowling Green, Ohio. He preceded her in death.

She was a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church at Knowles. She was a longtime resident of Knowles community and farmed with her husband.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Owens of Visalia; a sister, Maedean Blair of Big Spring; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
