Born November 26, 1923, in Eureka, Utah to Wilford Ray and Celia Anne Webb Jones. Married Roberta Skinner, February 27, 1947, in Las Vegas; solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, July 30, 1963. Veteran U.S. Navy. Active in American Legion and held many positions on all levels, state and local. Loved the Utah Boys State program and was its president for 20 years; also served in Boy Scouts. Active member LDS Church.
Survived by wife; sons, daughters and spouses, Bill and Delores, Fran and Denny Stultz, Salt Lake; Bob and Mitzie, Lucy and John Thorpe, Layton; Dave, Las Vegas; Barbara and Carl Richens, Vernal; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Saxon Batchelor, Hooper; Dale Pace, Clearfield. Preceded in death by brothers, Howard and Ray.
Funeral services Saturday, 11 a.m., Roosevelt LDS West Stake Center. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m., Olpin-Hullinger Mortuary, and Saturday, at the church, one hour prior to service. Burial: Ioka Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to Boys State Scholarship Fund, 1st Security Bank in Clarence's memory.
