On Sunday morning at 9.40 o'clock Mrs. Dura Baird, widow of the late John Baird, died at her home in Duncansville of lung trouble, after having been confined to her bed for almost a year. She leaves two sons Ira and John both at home, and is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Jane Irvin, of Duncansville; two brothers, Harry Ir- Tia, of Butte City, Montana, and James Irvin, of Duncansville, and one sister, Mrs. Eila Pole, of Philadelphia. Mrs. Baird wss a member of the Methodist Episcopal church at Hollidaysburg for many years and was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
