Albert F Snyder, Hit-Skip Victim Dies of Injuries
Gas Station Owner Struck Down by Autoist,
Succumes At Hospital
Albert F Snyder, 45 of 969 Cordova Av, proprietor of the Ritz gas station on Copley Rd, is dead Wednesday, the victim of a hit-skip driver.
Snyder died Tuesday in Peoples hospital of injuries suffered Sunday morning at 3 o'clock while crossing Copley rd in front of his station.
The only witness to the accident said the car was travelling so fast that he was unable to determine what type it was. Snyder was taken to the hospital by a passing motorist.
Without New Clues
Police said they were without new clues to the identity of the car or it's driver, Wednesday.
Funeral services are to be held for Snyder at the residence Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev Robert Davidson officiating. Burial will be made at Mt Peace cemetery.
