Mary E. Alvey, 71, formerly of Hale Ave. in Louisville, entered into rest on Thursday, December 25, 2003, at Hallmark Progressive Care Center in Clarksville, IN. She was retired from the deli department at Kroger. Mrs. Alvey is survived by a brother, James Judson; seven nephews, Rick, Mike, Gene, Steve, James, Chris and Mark Milby; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and Kim Cripps, who cared for her. Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday at W. G. Hardy, Shively Chapel, with interment in Bethany Cemetery. Visiting will be from noon-8 p.m. Sunday
