NORTON — The funeral for Gayle Eberle, 40, Norton, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Enfield-Eckhart Funeral Home here, Darel Boston officiating, followed by 3 p.m. rites at the Glen Elder Christian Church, the Rev. Lee Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery at Glen Elder.

Mrs. Eberle died after a short illness in Denver, where she had been transferred from Norton County Hospital.

She was born March 8, 1937, at Whitman, Neb., and moved with her family to Norton from Glen Elder in 1975.

Mrs. Eberle was a member of the Christian Church and was a past worthy matron of Chapter 60, Order of Eastern Star, at Glen Elder. She was employed at the J.C. Penney store at Norton.

Mr. Eberle manages the Norton Co-op.

Surviving are the husband and two daughters, Dana and Kelly, of the home; two sons, Kurt, of the home, and Charles, Norton; a brother, Gary Moran, Dallas, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Lois Schoen, Cawker City, and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home.
