TOWNVILLE, SC - Betty Jean Massey Holcombe, 69, of 110 Windy Point North, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003.
She was the widow of Calvin Holcombe and was born in Greenville, a daughter of the late Ben C. and Eunice Stokes Massey.
Mrs. Holcombe was a retired textile worker and was a member of First Christian Fellowship.
Surviving are daughters, Brenda Calkins, of Belton, and Deborah Evans and Dianne Lipper, both of Townville; a stepdaughter, Belinda Robertson; sisters, Shirley Murphy, of High Point, N.C., and Pauline Walker, of Greenville; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren
Mrs. Holcombe was predeceased by a son, Richard Paul Lucier.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. until noon. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West.
The family will gather at the residence following the service.
