FORT WORTH - Trina Simons, a registered nurse, died Monday in Manchester, Conn. She was 65. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Andrews Catholic Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. Greenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Simons was born in Los Angeles and had lived in Fort Worth since 1962. The family suggests that memorials be made to a church or charity of choice. Her husband, Dr. Thomas E. Simons, died in 1980. Survivors: Two sons, Thomas E. Simons Jr. of Houston and Richard R. Simons of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Sandra S. Wheaton of Hartford, Conn., and Karen Simons of Dallas; brother, Roy Ortiz of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Esther Kidd of Newport News, Va.; and four grandchildren.
