There seems to be some confusion on when she was born. The 1930 US Census (Joliet, Will Co., IL) notes she was 45 (should be 35?) years old, immigrated in 1913, was naturalized, spoke only Slovak and was 21 years old at her first marriage. Her birth year differs on the census (1885) versus what was noted on her tombstone (1895). If her tombstone's birth year of 1895 is used, then she married Anton Zilka in 1916. Her marriage to Stephen Medvesky would have been shortly after April 1926 since her daughter, Margaret, was born in August 1927.
Attached is what I believe is her birth record 12 May 1893.
Link to her sister: Mary (Barnasak) Holland.
