OCTAVA VANHOOSE
Mrs. Octava Vanhoose, 93, died, March 8, 1982, at her River home after an extended illness.
Born April 4, 1888, in Pike County, she was the daughter of Walter and Pricy May Vance and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Her husband, Lonnie C. Vanhoose, preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond Vanhoose, River, and Andrew Vanhoose, Cincinnati, OH; a brother, James Vance, Tampa, Fl.; a sister, Cora Vance Rice, Cocoa Beach, FL; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 11. Burial was in Vance Cemetery at Wurtland.
