Retha Walker Owens Partin age 90, of Powell, Tennessee passed away February 14, 2016 at Tennova Residential Hospice. She was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church. Born February 3, 1926 in the Corbin, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Julia Phillips Owens, Lewis Owens, and Luther Walker; infant daughter: Gereda Faye; brothers: Kenneth E. Owens, James Walker, and Milford Walker.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years: John Ray Partin; daughter: Linda Gail Garrett and husband Michael C. Garrett of Oneida; granddaughter: Julie Garrett Baird and husband Myke of Oneida; grandson: John Michael Garrett and wife Amy of Oneida; great-granddaughters: Alayna Baird, Carys Baird, Ava Garrett ; Sisters: Lourene Jeffers and Judy Damron and husband John of Oneida; brother: Jerry Owens and wife Dorothy of Madison, AL.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida, Tennessee with Bro. Jim Laxton Officiating. Music will be provided by Joyce Shupe. Burial will follow in the Carson Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Michael C. Garrett, John Michael Garrett, Myke Baird, Steven Owens, Charlie Burton and Lloyd Lee.
