Mrs. Allen, who was born February 24, 1878, at Smithville, Ark., was 61 years old, had been a resident of Missouri for 23 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Rev. Wayne W. Gray. Burial was in Little Prairie cemetery.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her son, George, two daughters, Mrs. B.O. Childress of Sharon, Tenn. and Mrs. C.T. Albert, Millstadt, Ill. and a brother, J.A. Batcher of Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were R.L. Gilbert, of Hayti, Bert Skinner of Braggadocia and Si Liggett, L.D. Edgerton and Walker Robertson of this city.
